"Our philosophy, "Building Relationships on Trust" recognizes the importance of teamwork. It rewards dedication and honesty. It values integrity over expediency. It defines our people as construction professionals for whom nothing is more important than advocating the best interests of the project."
Craig W. Shaw,
President and Chief Executive Officer
There is camaraderie among employees of a family-oriented contractor that adds value to their working lives. Perini Building Company has strived to maintain an open, family-like atmosphere in our corporate offices and on our job sites.
Like most families, our expectations are high. Recruiting and retaining talented and enthusiastic employees are keys to our success. Many of our employees are the second generation in their family to join our team, some are even third generation. We believe that each employee, in safely carrying out the responsibilities of their jobs, must act as stewards of our esteemed reputation that dates back to 1894.
Perini Building Company encourages teamwork and collaboration. We support and reward individual initiative and resourcefulness. We value problem solvers and effective communicators. We acknowledge and celebrate the contributions and accomplishments of others - fellow employees as well as our project partners.
We embrace diversity as the future of construction - not as a convenient marketing strategy. Our Diversity Development Program is growing new companies, building a much-needed pool of skilled and qualified minority-owned resources.
What started as a small group of people playing a round of golf for charity has become one of Las Vegas' most successful fundraising weekends involving over 1,000 participants. In the past three years the event has expanded into a two-day event and includes a silent auction, golf tournament, 5K run, and motorcycle/classic car poker run. www.perinigreenweekend.com
