Perini Building Company is opening doors for minority-owned and women-owned business enterprises and disadvantaged business enterprises with an innovative Diversity Development Program. At the heart of this initiative is a comprehensive approach to mentoring and educating MBE/WBE/DBE businesses about the complexities and demands of working with large construction companies on sophisticated projects.
Perini's program encourages qualified, certified MBE/WBE/DBE subcontractors to participate in Perini's prequalification process (click here).
We've found that many motivated MBE/WBE/DBE firms are too small, do not have contacts in the industry, or lack the bonding capacity to receive contracts on their own. Perini's Diversity Development Program is committed to recruit, educate, mentor, and retain qualified MBE/WBE/DBE subcontractors and vendors. Through joint venture partnerships and the pairing of smaller qualified minority firms with established major subcontractors, Perini is changing the face of building construction.
