Good Manufacturing Practice (or GMP) established by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration requires an extremely high level of quality assurance to minimize or eliminate the possibility of contamination. All ductwork for example, must be cleaned and sealed at the factory and cleaned once again following installation. Connecting joints in process piping are flouroscoped to ensure the integrity of the welds. |
