When the plumbing contractor defaulted on this major construction project for a new sports arena, just four months before the scheduled opening, Perini mobilized a 100-person work force within two weeks and executed the required work on an accelerated basis to allow other trades to proceed. The work was completed in time for the grand opening.

Project Complete
Perini managed the activities of 23 subcontractors to complete two, three-story, 100-room housing buildings, which sat idle for more than five months after the original contractor was terminated for cause. During the completion process, Perini addressed interior damage caused by unfinished roofs, and numerous workmanship issues impacting floors, cast-in-place concrete and masonry walls, plaster finishes, casement windows, and exterior insulation and finish systems. The project was completed in eight months.
