The Facility Consolidation Project is a design-build contract to renovate the Chancery building and ancillary facilities at the U.S. Embassy compound in Islamabad, Pakistan. The goal of the project is to consolidate similar functions within the Chancery building, and to create office space for off-site personnel to relocate within the Embassy compound. The project includes the renovation of five different areas into office space, construction of a new guard booth, the relocation and expansion of the Chancery kitchen, and the upgrade of the central air conditioning plant facility that serves the Chancery building.

OBO Security Upgrade Program
Worldwide

Perini is nearing completion of a multi-year contract for the OBO Security Upgrade Program-Worldwide, valued at over $148 million. The program involved site assessments at U.S. embassies and consulates in 40 countries, followed by the design and construction of security upgrades at 26 posts. The work encompassed perimeter walls and guard booths; vehicle entrance sally ports with active vehicle barriers; public access control areas, installation of security doors, windows, and grilles; and installation of electronic security equipment and security lighting.

Embassy Housing Complex
Ashgabat, Turkmenistan

Perini constructed an embassy housing complex in the former Soviet state of Turkmenistan that included staff houses, carports, ambassador's residence and garage, storage facilities, site work and utilities, water storage, transformer, and generators. This was a design/build project with a three-part design process: 35%, 100%, and Final Design.
