Over the past 22 years, Perini has completed a number of projects for the U.S. Department of State, Office of Overseas Buildings Operations. These include new construction of embassies and embassy housing; and additions, renovations and security upgrades at State Department posts in Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, and the Caribbean.We have recently constructed several projects at U.S. embassy facilities in Iraq under U.S. Army Corps of Engineers contracts. These include:

• helicopter maintenance facility and landing zone
• housing and infrastructure to support 1000 personnel at the main embassy site in Baghdad
• multiple blast resistant overhead structures to protect temporary administrative and housing facilities throughout the country.
